

Hon. Syvel Asilo-Gupilan
Pasig City Councilor, District II
Councilor Syvel Asilo-Gupilan, member, 11th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Pasig, chairs the Committee on Children’s Affairs and Public Relations and Information. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from Centro Escolar University. She completed her MPA Course at the Philippine Christian University.
She is actively involved in voluntary work being a Blood Coordinator and Regular Member of Dugong Alay Dugtong Buhay, Inc., an NGO whose objective is to organize bloodletting activities to provide safe and free blood and an Honorary member of Metrowalk Ortigas Golden Eagles Club, a non-sectarian group whose mission is service to country and the community.
She champions children’s rights and concerns as Chair of the Committee on Children’s Affairs. Her principal legislation includes the establishment of a Child-friendly space at the Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market and Special Drug Education Center or SDEC.
A devoted mother of young boys aged 4 and 2, Councilor Syvel’s drive and will to serve and respond to the needs of the people, specially the children will always be on top of her list.
