Atty. Renee Co is a lawyer and an activist, as well as a former student leader and campus journalist. For the 2025 elections, she was selected as the first nominee of Kabataan Partylist—the sole, genuine youth representation of the Philippine Congress. Prior to that, she served as Kabataan’s Executive Vice President from 2018 to 2024. She also represented more than 50,000 students of the nationwide University of the Philippines system to the Board of Regents—the highest decision-making body of the Philippines’ national university—as the 38th Student Regent, fighting for academic freedom; free, accessible, and quality education; and the safe reopening of schools during the draconian lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.
