Teresa Paula S. De Luna, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Speech Communication and Theater Arts at the University of the Philippines. She also holds the position of Director at the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment and is recognized as one of the directors of CyberGuardiansph.

Her academic expertise encompasses the field of Rhetoric, with specific concentrations in Digital and Popular Culture, as well as Intercultural and Multicultural Communication. Dr. De Luna’s commitment goes beyond academia; she actively engages in extension services aligned with her strong advocacy against all forms of gender-based violence and sexual harassment. At present, she is deeply involved in a research project focused on the critical subject of sexual consent.

In acknowledgment of her unwavering dedication to this cause, Dr. De Luna proudly serves as a member of the Philippine National Police’s Women and Children Protection Center’s Advisory Council. Through her multifaceted contributions, she endeavors to create a safer and more inclusive society.
