Ms. Gen Macalinao serves as the Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Lead of the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Department of Information and Communications Technology. She handles the team in charge of ensuring the cybersecurity of the country’s critical information infrastructures through cybersecurity policies, standards and capacity building activities. She was awarded the Certified in Cybersecurity credential by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC) in January of this year. She is an alumna of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch, Germany.
