As an advocate of Child Rights, Anti-Trafficking in Persons, and Gender and Development, he was awarded as a selfless public servant by the Las Familias Marquina de Berrenguer Corporation, for inspiring the people of Angono Rizal in the fight to end Human Trafficking in the country.

He was also awarded by Gabay at Aksyon radio & television program, for his unselfish action to fight trafficking in persons in the Philippines and the upholding of human rights; and as Outstanding Public Servant in the Protection of Children by KAKAMMPI, last December 12, 2015.

He was also able to author various ordinances on local policies that protect women and children and the marginalized sectors of the community & played a major role in several LGUs in Policy Development.
