Redd de Guzman has been a dedicated solo parent advocate since 2010. He co-authored House Bill 5708, which became part of Republic Act 11861, and was a key member of the Technical Working Group that crafted its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations. He also contributed to the Technical Working Groups for the Universal Healthcare Law and the Social Welfare Attaché Law.

Redd is the Secretary-General of the National Council for Solo Parents, an NGO that collaborates with various national agencies like the CHR, DSWD, and DILG. As a pro-bono consultant for solo parent organizations, he also serves as the president of Guiding Road Charitable Organization, a certified Life Coach, and editor-in-chief of Q Asia Magazine. Additionally, he sits on the boards of several cooperatives.

In 2017, Redd was honored with the Gawad Parangal Award by Congressman Winnie Castelo.
