Sarah Elago is a community worker and policy consultant for Gabriela Women’s Party and other organizations that advocate for gender equality, human rights, and social justice. She is a convenor of the Parliamentarians and Advocates for C190 and Babae para sa Inang Bayan (BIBA), pushing for women’s empowerment and national development.

Despite managing stuttering, Sarah founded and remains an active member of the Philippine Stuttering Association, a support group for individuals with stuttering.

As a former party-list representative, she authored 23 significant laws, including the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act and the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (Anti-OSAEC) Act.
